Collect as much rain as possible
How does Rain Hunter sound like? Think a smidgen of The Pink Panther, a dash of Ethan Hunt, a sliver of James Bond and a pinch of Johnny English. Shake it up, mix it off et voilà: Eric becomes a true ‘Champion’.
The campaign introduces Eric. He tests wipers by hunting the rain. But what does this Rain Hunter sound like?
Champion is the premium wipers, plugs and filters brand from Federal-Mogul. They refreshed their brand image on an international level and, in addition, launched a renewed wiper range. BBDO mapped out an integrated campaign that goes far beyond windscreen wipers alone. So, why not add a layer of sound to complete the new identity? Enter Sonhouse.

Step 1: Creating a sound palette with original music
After defining the sound strategy Sonhouse translates words into notes by creating a comprehensive sound palette. Little less conversation, little more action, please.
Step 2: Composing the theme song of what Eric sounds like
The result of the whole exercise: a score.
Step 3: Remixing the theme song and other derivatives
After the sound logo it’s time to dress up rhe Rain Hunter in several jackets, even an 8-bit one.
Step 5: Collecting some awards
The campaign was rewarded with a BOA & and IMC. This whole case was effective, in the end that’s what matters.
